A San Ferdinando, in provincia di Reggio Calabria, esiste una tendopoli dove vivono più di 1000 immigrati braccianti, in condizioni disumane. E’ la prima volta che una macchina fotografica fa vedere le loro condizioni di vita. Tra loro anche bambini da 0-15 anni, che non compariranno, ma di cui si vedranno giochi e panni appesi, testimonianza della loro presenza. Il regista ha vissuto due giorni e due notti, mangiando e dormendo con loro all’interno di una tenda, perché solo così avrebbe veramente potuto documentare il reale.

In San Ferdinando, not far from Reggio Calabria, there is a tent city where more than 1000 immigrant day laborers live in inhuman conditions. For the first time a camera shows the way they live.
Among them, there are children from 0 to 15, that will not appear but whose toys and clothes are there, proving their presence.
The director lived there for two days and tow nights, sleeping with them in a tent, because it was the only way to provide documentary evidence of reality.
