Da 120 anni la famiglia di Rajae Sanduka ha il compito di far sparare, mattina e sera, un cannone durante il santo mese del Ramadan. Rajae difende questa eredità lottando contro le difficoltà quotidiane di un palestinese residente a Gerusalemme. Per fare i conti con la sua frustrazione senza correre rischi, mette in scena un’opera satirica nell’unico teatro palestinese rimasto in città.

Rajae Sanduka struggles with the daily hardships of a Palestinian resident of Jerusalem during the holy month of the Ramadan, upholding 120 years old family legacy firing a cannon. To confront his frustration without risk, he puts on a satirical play at the only remaining Palestinian theatre in the city.
