Roberto Adamo, Emanuele Prato, Sadic Abazac and G. are four former prisoners who lay bare telling about their experience of detention inside the different Italian prisons interspersing with the testimonies of psychologists and educators of the recovery center where they are doing a rehabilitation path. Their stories are united not only by detention but by the change built day by day during the alternative sanction, a possibility initially underestimated, that after a long period has changed their lives making them more aware and making it possible for a redemption.
