Application deadline to MYArt Film Festival 2017 is over

Lots of films have been submitted to the first edition of the Festival addressed to young film directors who deal with migration and human rights in the Mediterranean Countries.

 


 

COSENZA – Last 31st March time was over for applications to MYArt, Film Festival organized in Calabria by “La Kasbah” multiethnic cultural association and the young “Lago Film” production company from Cosenza.

The artistic management has allowed a postponement only for the “Social Spot” category, whose deadline was 10th April.

From all Mediterranean Countries films have been submitted to all categories: documentaries, short films, social spots and non-competitive section.

The artistic management is now examining all the films to select the works deserving to compete, and therefore, to be evaluated by the technical juries of the three sections.

Shows will take place in Cosenza from 28th to 30th April, together with collateral events and thematic conventions about cinema as an instrument to connect the Mediterranean shores.

Winners will be proclaimed and awarded on 30th April, during MYArt Film Festival closing soirée.
