All nominations have been announced for the 64th edition of David di Donatello Awards, the ceremony planned for next 27th March: Wilma Labate, with her “Arrivederci Saigon”, is running for the best documentary.
Piera Detassis, President and Artistic Director of the Academy, has announced the nominations for the 64th edition of David di Donatello Awards to the press (films released between the 1st January and 31st December 2018).
MyART is therefore proud of this well-deserved nomination and hopes for the victory of the director who presided over the panel that evaluated the films competing in its festival, dedicated to “alternative narrations” of migrations and human rights.
Not without reason, 2018 edition of MyART has started with the screening of the documentary about the unbelievable story of “Le Stars”, a very young Italian band that is suddenly sent from Tuscany to Vietnam to play in the American military base. That same night, Wilma Labate was given the Mario Gallo Prize.
A documentary that deserves to win, undoubtedly.
