ere are the documentaries and the short films selected to be judged by di Daniele Ciprì, Andrea Segre, Ilir Butka, Anna Ramskogler-Witt, Alessandro Di Gregorio and Corrado Giustiniani

Ten documentaries and twelve short films have been selected and entrusted to the technical jury for the third edition of MyART, the indipendenti film festival dedicated to migrations and human rights which will take place in Cosenza from the 5th to the 9th November and this year focuses on gender equality and women’s rights.

For the documentary section, the following films will compete for the “Sprar” Award: “Not Just Football” by Paolo Casalis (Italia, 2018, 70’); “Anbessa” by Mo Scarpelli (Italia/Usa, 2019, 86’); “In Our Paradise” by Claudia Marschal (Francia, 2019, 76’); “Dialogue” by Selim Yildiz (Kurdistan/Turchia, 2019, 93’); “Who’s Romeo” by Giovanni Covini (Italia, 2018, 89’); “Chaos” by Sara Fattahi (Siria, 2018, 95’); “Footballization” by Francesco Furiassi and Francesco Agostini (Italia, 2018, 76’); “After Prayers” by Simone Mestroni (Italia, 2018, 61’); “Rotta Contraria” by Stefano Grossi (Italia, 2018, 76’); “We Are Not Together” by Alexander Nezam (Usa/Grecia, 2019, 67’56’’).

The short films chosen to compete for the “Migrantes” Award are: “Baradar” by Beppe Tufarulo (Italia, 2019, 15’); “Nooh” by Edoardo Bramucci (Italia, 2018, 11’47’’); “Yousef” by Mohamed Hossameldin (Egitto/Italia, 2018, 14’); “Krampon” by Abdullah Sahin (Turchia, 2018, 10’36’’); “Pd” by Olivier Lallart (Francia, 2019, 35’3’’); “High Tide” by Hamed Golshahi (Iran, 2019, 15’08’’); “Apollo 18” by Marco Renda (Italia, 2019, 8’); “Amare Affondo” by  Matteo Russo (Italia, 2019, 15’); “Il Mondiale In Piazza” by Vito  Palmieri (Italia, 2018, 15’); “My Tyson” by Claudio Casale (Italia, 2018, 15’); “Song Sparrow” by Farzaneh Omidvarnia (Iran/Danimarca, 2019, 12’); “The Role” by Farnoosh Samadi (Italia/Iran, 2018, 11’50’’).Now it’s up to the jury – Daniele Ciprì, Andrea Segre, Ilir Butka, Anna Ramskogler-Witt, Alessandro Di Gregorio e Corrado Giustiniani – to declare the best documentary and the best short film, as well as to award special mentions. On the 9th of November we will know who the winners are, in occasion of the final Award Ceremony of the festival that offers an alternative narration of migration and human rights.
